The business world is fast-paced and constantly evolving; the same can be said for the College of Business (COB) at University of Michigan-Dearborn. Students are our top priority and we continue to support them at every turn.

Last year, we had much to be proud of at the COB. Once again, we were awarded the world-renowned Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation. A number of faculty members were published in business journals, demonstrating their expertise in the industry. We enhanced learning and created opportunities through innovative programs in areas like small business management and entrepreneurship. We opened the John H. and Patricia W. Mitchell Business Communications Lab to teach business communication skills to students. Most importantly, we increased the number of scholarships for COB students.

These achievements are the result of the collective effort of our faculty and staff, and alumni and donors like you.

As I look ahead, I’m excited for what’s next at the College of Business. Our faculty started teaching with the Practice-Based Learning (PBL) model, which emphasizes learning by doing. I look forward to seeing how PBL benefits our students, along with the Sales Management and Personal Selling Certificate we launched this fall. With your partnership, we can continue delivering for our students and getting them ready for business.

Your giving makes this work possible. With your help, we can give our students the tools, resources, and opportunities to succeed this year. Please support COB students with your gift today.

With best regards,
